I was born and raised in Poland, where I learned early on the value of hard work, resilience, and community. Growing up, I watched my father work as a handyman — always fixing, building, and finding solutions with his hands and his mind. I didn’t realize it back then but watching him approach every task with pride and persistence shaped how I approach challenges today.

     Before moving to the United States, I studied Iberian Studies — Spanish Language and Culture — at Warsaw University. Language, communication, and cultural understanding have always been important to me. I also worked as a Spanish language teacher, where I developed the ability to explain complex topics in a simple and relatable way. I believe that knowledge is power, and my goal was always to make sure everyone could understand and feel confident with the material. That experience taught me how to be clear, patient, and effective — skills I now use every day to guide clients through the insurance process.

    Early in my professional journey, I worked in customer support at Nokia, where I learned just how vital communication and teamwork are in delivering the best service possible. That role showed me the power of listening, problem-solving, and collaboration — all of which became core values I brought with me into my own business.

After moving to the U.S., I started from the ground up — improving the language, adapting to a new culture, and working hard to build a better life. Along the way, I met many fellow Poles working in the construction field. It was thanks to those connections that I was first introduced to the world of insurance claims. Seeing how many people were struggling with complicated policies and unfair settlements, I realized there was a real need — and I knew I could help.

    I became a licensed public adjuster and founded Kurek Claims LLC with one mission: to stand up for policyholders, fight for what they’re owed, and make the claims process easier, clearer, and more fair. Today, I use everything I’ve learned — from my upbringing to my education and work experience — to serve homeowners, property managers, and business owners across Florida.

    I enrolled at Central Insurance School in St. Petersburg, Florida, where I completed the required coursework to obtain my 3-20 Public Adjuster License. After passing the state exam, I officially became a licensed public adjuster.

    My story is about more than insurance — it’s about advocating for people, bridging cultures, and making sure no one has to face the claims process alone.
